Looking for love?

This is the 'love-in' which will have all of Sydney talking

There will be a 'whole lotta love’ at the Art Gallery of New South Wales during Art After Hours on 13 February 2013 – on the eve of Valentine’s Day – to co-incide with the Gallery’s first 'love’ exhibition, We used to talk about love. Go no further than the Gallery to find love in all the right places…

Special guest for the evening is Katie Noonan singing 'Songs of Love’ at 6.30pm and if you are in the Gallery from 5pm you could find yourself being serenaded in very strange places indeed. There’s an artist talk with Tim Silver, whose work is in the exhibition, and if you have a broken heart the Gallery will put your heart back together with songs in the Artbar along with champagne and oysters. If you have never been to a 'public love-in’ before, then now is the time.

Highlights for the evening:

5pm-9pm Instagram Love Bytes Competition
Snap a love byte of something you love at the Gallery on the night – it could be a performance, talk or your favourite space – and upload it to Instagram with the hashtag #loveagnsw for your chance to win a special lovers’ retreat including luxury accommodation at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, with a bottle of champagne.
