Where is the Members Lounge?
The Members Lounge is located on lower level 3 of the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
How do members and guests get to the Members Lounge?
Art Gallery of New South Wales members and their guests access the lounge from the escalators on lower level 2.
Members and guests requiring special access can use the lifts (located near the Art Gallery Restaurant) to travel to lower level 3.
From lower level 3, members and guests enter the lounge from the Domain Theatre foyer.
How can members access the Members Lounge?
Members scan their membership card at the scanners at the entry to the lounge.
Can members bring guests into the Members Lounge?
Yes. Individual members can bring one guest. Duo members can bring two guests. Champion members can bring up to three guests.
How can guests access the Members Lounge?
A Members Lounge guest pass is issued at the Members Lounge reception desk. The pass is valid for lounge access on the day of issue only.
Are children permitted in the Members Lounge?
Yes, children can access the Members Lounge. They must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Is there a cloaking facility at the Members Lounge?
No. Cloaking is available on the ground level of the Art Gallery.
When is dining available in the Members Lounge?

Do members receive a discount for food and beverage in the Members Lounge?
Yes. The advertised price of food and beverage in the Members Lounge is the ‘members price’ and already includes the members discount.
What are the protocols of the Members Lounge?
Members and guests agree to the Member Lounge terms and conditions of entry and use when they enter the lounge.
Is free tea or coffee available in the Members Lounge?
Complimentary tea and coffee is no longer available in the Members Lounge.
This service was becoming increasingly costly and impacting upon our ability to raise funds to support the Art Gallery.
However, members will be regularly provided with special offers and discounts for the Members Lounge. Keep an eye out for these offers in our e-newsletters.
Do members have to order food and beverage to use the Members Lounge?
No, members and guests are not required to purchase any items from the Members Lounge. However, only food and beverage purchased from the Members Lounge can be consumed while using the lounge.
Complimentary water is provided on the bar.
Can a member reserve a table in the Members Lounge?
No. The Members Lounge operates on a first-in best-dressed basis.
