A beautifully designed space for Art Gallery members and their guests

Located on lower level 3 of the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ south building, now known as Naala Nura, the Members Lounge is the ideal place to relax and recharge in the Art Gallery and to catch up with friends before or after visiting an exhibition, enjoying a performance or taking in a lecture.

Members and guests enjoy:

a casual dining experience with an enticing seasonal menu of savoury and sweet dishes and barista coffee
a full bar service with premium beverages
an ongoing curated display of works from the Art Gallery’s collection
free WiFi access and a selection of art magazines
access to the library garden when completed in 2023

Members Lounge open daily 10am – 4.45pm
Wednesdays until 10pm
Closed Easter Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day
Casual dining available daily 10am – 4pm and Wednesdays until 8pm

Casual dining in the Members Lounge

The Members Lounge serves a selection of dishes suitable for all-day dining. The seasonal menu offers a broad assortment of delectable pastries, cakes, snacks, freshly made salads, sandwiches and barista coffee. Our elegant bar serves a range of premium beverages including quality wines, champagne, beers, ciders, spirits and non-alcoholic offerings.

Note: The menu in the Members Lounge is seasonal and subject to change. All prices listed on this menu are the ‘members price’. Further discounts do not apply. A 10% surcharge applies on public holidays.
