Now gracing Art Gallery Road is an epic outdoor artwork by Sydney artist Joan Ross. We have sung the same song for millions of years was commissioned for the hoarding that surrounds the Sydney Modern Project construction site. The 20-metre hand-painted digital vinyl print pays homage to the longevity of the planet while recognising our human connections to place. Works update

Construction of permanent hoarding around the perimeter of the project site is complete, including the installation of the majority of hoarding graphics. Establishment of the site compound on the landbridge is also complete. Preparation works to one of the existing oil tanks are mostly complete as part of its conversion into a state-of-the-art loading dock and back of house operations for the new building. Bulk excavation in various zones on the site continues. Read more
