The Edmund and Joanna Capon Research Library and the National Art Archive at the Art Gallery of New South Wales have some of the richest and most extensive collections of publications and original material on the visual culture of Australia. These collections are extensively used by artists, Art Gallery staff, art scholars, curators and the general public.
