The Citigroup Private Bank Australian Photographic Portraiture Prize presented outstanding works by both professional and aspiring Australian photographers.
It was held annually at the Art Gallery of NSW from 2003 to 2006 in conjunction with the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes.
Although the photographic portrait competition is no longer held, photography continues to feature prominently at the Gallery, both as part of the collection and in exhibitions.
